    • About the role:


    We are looking for a Casual Kitchen Hand to join our Medirest team at Middlemore Hospital. Work is on an as‑and‑when‑required basis, depending on business needs.

    Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


    In this position;


    • Providing warm, friendly customer service
    • Responding to customer requests and replenishing supplies
    • Maintaining clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas
    • Cleaning tables, equipment, floors, and handling waste and linen
    • Receiving and rotating stock
    • Assisting with food preparation and presentation
    • Washing dishes including pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment
    • Following food safety plans and hospital/aged care food safety practices
