We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand/Steward to join our busy team at West HQ.
What does a Kitchen Hand do?
Our Kitchen Hands are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen and related areas in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties could include:
- Washing kitchen equipment and dishes
- Maintaining a constant supply of clean materials
- Ensuring all kitchen areas are clean and hygienically maintained. Including mopping of floors and removing garbage
- Cleaning of wash-up areas
- Ensuring that kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standard
- Complying with safety work procedures (PPE) & WHS regulations
- Ensuring safe manual handling techniques at all times
