Overview
Salt is hiring a Synopsis Writer to join the Product Merchandising team. This 6‑month contract (extendable) is based in Singapore and requires a versatile, creative writer who can summarize movies and television shows with concise, engaging synopses. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer/editor who is an expert on Korean media and entertainment, with the ability to craft each synopsis to “sing” for diverse global audiences.
Responsibilities- Craft engaging English‑language synopses for a wide range of Korean visual content, including reality TV, documentary series, films, and scripted dramas.
- Produce multiple synopses each week, ensuring each title’s essence is captured clearly and appealingly.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Writing Strategists based in Korea to align each synopsis with the original work’s creative intent, tone, and cultural nuances.
