Laboratory Analyst for Chemistry Laboratory

Must be registered Chemist or Chemical Technician

With at least two (2) years of experience in water and wastewater analysis

Preferably with experience in operating UV-Vis and AA Spectrophotometers

Must be organized, process and detail-oriented, and with excellent technical writing skills

Highly motivated, self-directed, and can work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Analyst shall be able to perform required microbiological and physio-chemical test parameters of water samples.
• The Analyst shall be responsible in receiving and checking water samples.
• The Analyst shall be responsible in chemical preparations in the laboratory.
• The Analyst shall be responsible in proper chemical waste segregation and containment inside the laboratory.
• The Analyst shall be responsible in checking the works of the laboratory aide and sampler.
