Job Description
Statement of Duties
- Perform laboratory activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
- Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
- Prepare calibration curves for analysis.
- Perform method validation and verification.
- Record, compute, and analyze results of testing.
- Collect, prepare, and/or test WEM samples.
- Regularly update monitoring forms and control charts.
- Keep test equipment clean and calibrated.
- Write reports, reviews, and summaries.
- Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
- Carry out risk assessments.
- Order and maintain laboratory resource inventory.
- Update laboratory environmental, safety, hazard, and waste disposal records.
- Follow organization’s guidelines and policy on Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH), especially on safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal....
