Support middle school science education as a Laboratory Technician at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, BC. This part-time role focuses on technology facilitation and lab maintenance.
St. Michaels University School is looking for a part-time Science and Design Technology Laboratory Technician to enhance learning experiences. You will work closely with students and teachers, training them on various technologies in the lab, including 3D printers and robotics. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and organized space while fostering creativity and innovation in project work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and train users in design lab technologies
• Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment and tools
• Supervise equipment utilization and monitor safety
• Handle material inventory and procurement
• Support lesson preparation and student fabrication projects

• High school diploma and progressing towards a relevant degree
