The position :
My client is seeking a Laboratory technician initially for a three-day week (totally of 22.5 hours per week) to assist with the Performance testing of yeast.
This will be on a 12 month casual contract to start off with and at its maturity will have the option to go permanent if both parties are happy.
The work will take place in a very modern and pleasant working environment you will be required to assist with: Routine laboratory testing of dry & wet yeast using a range of laboratory tools and equipment Mixing of dough for the purposes of testing batches of yeast.
Recording and reporting of test results Ensuring testing is performed in accordance with agreed standards. Ensuring consistency in accuracy, quality and timely output of work.
