Job Description
Provide laboratory testing services such as mechanical, environmental, high‐voltage, high‐power, and continuous current testing to Hubbell business units and third‐party customers. Typical products tested are electrical utility distribution and transmission products. Supports product test programs in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory using established test methods with developing technical independence. Responsibilities Perform product testing of electrical utility products by operating test equipment in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Execute test plans using established laboratory procedures, quality documents, and industry standards. Prepare accurate test reports describing test objects, equipment used, procedures, and results. Make routine technical decisions within approved procedures and escalate abnormal conditions or results. Review collected test data for basic accuracy and consistency with test plans.
