You will be integral to both clinical service and research, responsible for sputum cell count processing and cytochemical analysis under the mentorship of Professor Parameswaran Nair. Contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with professional associations while maintaining laboratory excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process sputum samples for clinical respirology assessments
• Stain cytospins for detailed cytological analysis
• Operate and manage the coulter cell counter for results
• Coordinate laboratory schedules and workload efficiently
• Educate staff on sputum processing methodologies
Requirements:
• MLT (hematology) certification compulsory
• 5+ years experience in hematology cytotechnology
