Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laser test benches, optical setups, electrical and mechanical fixtures.
- Ensure high equipment uptime and availability to support production targets.
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production and test equipment.
- Perform product validation, verification, and release activities.
- Conduct detailed failure analysis on defective laser units and components.
- Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
- Monitor and drive production KPIs including First Pass Yield (FPY), Defective Parts Rate, Test Yield, Equipment Uptime
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance yield, quality, and productivity.
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical issues.
