Overview
Operate and maintain the CNC Laser cutting machine and related tools and equipment. Operate the CNC Press Brake machines producing a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the drawings.
Responsibilities
Perform basic CNC laser operation which includes loading correct materials onto machine utilizing an overhead crane, loading programs on machine control, running programs and inspecting parts for both cut quality and dimensional tolerance. Perform basic CNC laser set up such as lens center, standoff and focusing to ensure acceptable edge quality of parts. Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type for the CNC Press Brake Machine Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
