Job Description
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines
- Sort wash, dry and fold linens, towels and other items according to established procedures
- Ensure proper handling of different fabric types and follow care instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of laundry processed and supplies used
- Assist in inventory management of linens and laundry supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or other staff members
