Position Summary
Supervise the daily operation of the laundry facility, ensuring efficient processes, equipment maintenance, and adherence to quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operation, including washing, ironing, dry cleaning, and storage of all laundry products.
- Ensure equipment is fully operational, coordinate repairs with the Executive Housekeeper, and schedule maintenance.
- Coordinate with all divisions to guarantee proper sorting of linen before it reaches the laundry; maintain color separation and remove garbage.
- Inspect dryers and other machines daily; maintain lint free and operate within correct temperature range.
- Prepare and submit daily inspection reports to the Executive Housekeeper and First Engineer.
- Coordinate cleaning of non-logo uniforms with linen keeper and crew members; confirm items are bona fide for cost‑effective service.
