Job Purpose
Operator in Laundry operation to process soiled linen and prepare cleaned linen for delivery according to customers’ specification and requirement.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Operate laundry’s machinery and equipment according to the operating manual.
- Sort soiled linen according to specification before washing process.
- Conduct quality control on cleaned linen before delivery according to quality standards.
- Packing linen for hospitals’ Operating Theatre and CSSD department according to hospitals’ specification.
- Remove any unacceptable linen (stained/torn/poor finishing) and foreign object detected during process.
- Loading washed linen and unloading of soiled linen from laundry vehicles daily.
- Wash and sanitizing of linen trolleys daily where applicable.
- Check, count and prepare delivery order for cleaned linen before delivery.
