JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician Department: OSC SRM Sheet Metal Reports To: Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor POSITION PURPOSE: The Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing various maintenance functions on company aircraft performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Mechanics, and Apprentices in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as all federal aviation regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and assist approved work by their Supervisors within the scheduled shift.
- Work with assigned crew to ensure projects achieve quality work on time and budget.
- Ensure that productivity and budgets are satisfactory.
- Ensuring company and FAA procedures are being followed.
- Monitoring personnel for attendance and performing evaluations of crewmembers.
