Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Lead Artist (Procedural) to spearhead the creation of procedurally generated content, including vegetation, organic assets, and architectural facade kits, for an ambitious interactive project set in a contemporary real-life urban environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the creation of content assets used by procedural tools, enabling the creation of large-scale environments with consistency and visual fidelity.
Reporting to the Associate Art Director – Environment, the Lead Artist (Procedural) will work closely with Tech Art teams, Houdini specialists, and cross-functional teams to ensure that procedural systems support the artistic vision and production constraints. The role includes managing a team of artists creating assets used by procedural systems and serving as a key liaison between art and technical teams to ensure scalable solutions from high-end to mobile.
