Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineering / Platform Ops professional to own and operate RAKBANK’s enterprise data platform.
You will lead the engineering of scalable data pipelines and ensure the platform delivers reliable, secure, and high-performance data to power analytics, AI, and regulatory reporting across the bank.
What You’ll Do- Design and operate batch & real-time data pipelines (ADF, Kafka/CDC)
- Build and manage the Databricks lakehouse platform (bronze → gold layers)
- Own DataOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident management
- Implement data governance (Unity Catalog) — security, lineage, access controls
- Develop dbt transformation models aligned to business data needs
- Manage real-time streaming (Kafka / Confluent) for operational use cases
