Lead Diesel Technician - Direct Hire

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to lead a team of Technicians in repairing and maintaining Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits. Total compensation is based on experience and ranges from $70k/yr-$90k/yr. Primary Responsibilities Perform general repairs on all parts of Class 8 trucks and trailers Engine rebuilds Troubleshoot and repair the electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, and hydraulic systems Rebuild Cummins engines Lead and train technicians Welding and fabrication as needed. Make recommendations for process system improvements. Qualifications Must be in a lead tech role or similar leadership role for 5 plus years. Minimum of 10 years of experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements. Must have strong welding and fabrication skills. Must be highly self-motivated and a team player Class A CDL license a plus.
