Job Description

Lead Electrical Engineer

The Lead Electrical Engineer is accountable for the management of project electrical interfaces with clients, designers, suppliers and constructors of Goldwind Africa’s projects.

Job Duties

  • Exploit and manage electrical BOP partners for wind farms, including design houses, electrical construction subcontractors, main electrical component suppliers, etc.
  • Manage project electrical proposal process, BOQ preparation and cost estimation, assist with bidding submissions under EPC scope for wind farms in South Africa and other African countries.
  • Clarify and negotiate with client or contractor about scope of work and specifications, identify changes and associated cost.
  • Develop and implement engineering systems, tools, documents and procedures for Goldwind Africa.
