- Lead and manage mechanical design activities, including the creation and review of 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials
- Manage engineering data within CAD and PDM/PLM systems, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful project delivery
- Lead design reviews and ensure designs meet customer specifications, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing requirements
- Support product development from concept through to production, ensuring timelines, milestones, and technical objectives are achieved
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while identifying opportunities for design improvement and optimisation
