- Confirms proper labeling and acceptability of specimens; resolves discrepancies as needed.
- Performs and documents testing and blood component processing per protocols.
- Selects and issues appropriate blood components; maintains accurate TSIS documentation.
- Ensures adequate inventory of blood components and uses resources effectively.
