Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction of pipelines and ensure they are built to specifications.
- Monitor pipeline projects from start to finish, including preplanning, design, construction, testing and commissioning.
- liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of pipeline projects.
- Manage a team of pipeline engineers and technicians, ensuring that work is carried out safely and to schedule.
- Prepare reports and documentation relating to pipeline projects
- Design and oversee the construction of pipelines for the transport of gas, oil, water, and other fluids
- Ensure that pipelines are constructed according to safety standards and regulations
- Develop plans and layouts for pipeline systems
- Calculate the costs associated with pipeline projects
