Job Description Summary
Leads the Powerplant Engineering function that interfaces with other functions to provide coordination of workscoping effectiveness, meeting customer needs on respective engines and responsible for the team's SQDIP metrics using Flightdeck. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost through Flightdeck).
Role Overview
- Directly involved in Powerplant Engineer's manpower planning that supports production team on engine workscoping.
- Managing engine workscopes for shop induction pipeline.
- Driving SQDIP metrics for Powerplant Engineering Team by utilizing fully the Flightdeck principles.
