Job Description Summary The Coatings Engineer is responsible for the selection, development, application, testing, and performance evaluation of protective and functional coating systems for products or components. This role supports product quality, durability, material analysis, regulatory compliance, and process improvement across R&D and manufacturing environments. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and optimize coating systems for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness using HVOF, thermal spray and similar technologies
Investigate coating failures, including adhesion issues, corrosion, blistering, cracking, peeling, and environmental degradation
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and global engineering teams to implement coating processes and resolve production issues
