An Insight Global customer is seeking a Lead Safety Trainer to support a massive mining operation in Nevada. Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with ES&H and Construction groups on the developing, revising and implementing
craft training.
Coordination of skills verification, apprentice mentoring, identification and rectification of skill gaps.
Supervises project trainers and/or Craft evaluator(s).
Provides guidance to Craft Trainers and Evaluators for training to all levels of Craft including
Foreperson and General Foreperson.
Oversees capability assessments of direct hire Craft.
Responsible for project training facility layout, resource allocation, set-up and maintenance.
May participate in the selection of evaluators/trainers.
Coordinates and monitors classes, instructors, facilities, class times, participants (level) and
instructor evaluations on each project.
