Our Sleep Center in Niskayuna is looking for a Lead Sleep Technologist to join their team. The Sleep Technologist will report to practice manger and have oversight of scheduling sleep studies, perform daytime nap studies, set up home studies and score home studies and score overnight PSG studies. This is a 4 day work week, 32 hours.
Manage and perform all types of sleep diagnostic recordings according to company policies and the standards of the AASM including, but not limited to scoring. Maintain staff schedules of sleep technologists. Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis. Follow all testing preparation procedures including, but not limited to, preparing and calibrating equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP mask fitting).
