Step into a lead role at the Red Chris Block Cave Project in Northern British Columbia. This fly-in/fly-out position emphasizes team leadership in surveying for mining operations.
As a Team Lead Surveyor, you'll oversee survey activities, both underground and surface, while scheduling work to meet production targets. You will coach and develop survey teams, ensure data accuracy, and manage equipment maintenance. This role fosters collaboration with engineers and geologists for integrated mine models and promotes a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise surveying for underground and surface mining
• Schedule daily/weekly survey work for production alignment
• Train and develop survey teams on safety and equipment
• Ensure quality control of survey data before reporting
• Prepare and present survey reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Surveying or related field
• Experience in mine surveying, leadership preferred
