Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Wallingford Site, Oxfordshire
The role is a Lead Veterinary Surgeon position based at the Wallingford site within the Abivale Vets network. The successful candidate will work occasional shifts at other branches and will be compensated up to £70,000 (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical standards, governance and delivery of outstanding patient and client care as the most senior veterinary clinician.
- Provide clinical leadership to the veterinary team, oversee complex cases, and act as the primary source of clinical guidance and decision‑making.
- Support the senior practice leadership team in strategic direction and drive continuous improvement in clinical quality and outcomes.
- Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the branch, providing excellent client care and ownership of the surgery.
