Job Description
(What the role is) This is a 2-year position as a Lecturer in the School of Life Sciences & Chemical Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering Continuing Education and Training (CET) and Pre-Employment Training (PET) programmes in the areas of environmental sustainability, water technology, and waste management. (What you will be working on) Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design, develop and deliver in-person/online lectures, tutorials, practicals, assessments and marking for full-time and part-time courses in environmental science and sustainability, environmental engineering, water technology and carbon management
- Be available to teach at least 1 evening per week and/or on weekends for CET classes
- Conduct business development in the environmental industry to drive CET courses, 'Industry in Curriculum' and projects.
