The International Hotel School Cape Town Campus is searching for a Patisserie Lecturer. The purpose of this role is to teach and share your passion for the culinary industry with eager young students; helping them grow individually, and ultimately playing a role in their career paths and success in life. Responsibilities
- Conduct theory lectures and kitchen pastry practical sessions
- Ensure a pass rate of 85% and throughput rate of 90% is achieved
- Student tracking, counselling and support
- Input towards curriculum development and improvement
- Apply assessment principles as per assessor code of conduct
- Industry time and research
- Take the lead on all Competitions
- In charge of Pastry Based Excursions for the students
- Open day Sweet Snacks
