POST: Lecturer: Relief for English First Additional Language (PL1)

SALARY: R plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION: 3 Months Fixed Term Contract

Requirements

• Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree) having majored in English First Language or First Additional Language.
• Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• SACE registration.
• Teaching experience in English is key.
• Assessor/ Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of legislation governing the sector.

Duties

• The incumbent will be responsible for teaching L2 – L4 English subject.
• Conducting assessments and marking of tasks.
• Preparation of files (POA; POE and Subject file).
