Job Description
The Role:
Euroclear are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their UK Legal Team. You will be part of a local team in the UK and will be part of a larger legal, governance and regulatory division located across multiple jurisdictions. The UK team is primarily responsible for supporting Euroclear’s UK securities settlement business (Euroclear UK & International) as well as contributing to the activities of the wider Euroclear Group.
Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the systemic role of financial market infrastructures in the operation of the UK economy and the legal and regulatory framework supporting this. Advise on new product launches and strategic initiatives. Identify and advise on new laws and regulations that are relevant to the business.
