St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support classroom learning. This role is part of a one‑form entry Catholic primary school where children are at the centre of everything we do.
Working Hours & Contract
Hours: 24 per week (Monday to Friday, 9am–1pm). Part‑time, term‑time only (39 weeks per year plus 5.65 weeks annual leave, increasing after five years of continuous service). Fixed‑term appointment for 12 months, starting September 2026. Salary will be pro‑rata.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with delivering lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support pupils during learning, including those requiring additional assistance.
- Help implement intervention programmes to groups of children.
