Role Summary
The nursery lead will provide high‑quality early years provision, lead the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, and support staff to deliver the EYFS framework in a safe and inclusive environment. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, safeguarding, staff coaching, and building relationships with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of a creative, engaging EYFS curriculum
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
- Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
- Support, coach, and model best practice for nursery staff
- Build positive partnerships with parents and external professionals
