Role Overview
The Level 3 Upfitter Technician is responsible for transforming new vehicles into fully equipped police and emergency response units while supporting production efficiency, quality standards, and team success in a fast-paced environment. This role requires advanced automotive electrical and mechanical expertise, strong troubleshooting abilities, and experience completing full emergency vehicle builds across multiple vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of upfitter technicians to meet production and quality goals
- Conduct daily team meetings to assign tasks and review priorities
- Perform advanced installations of emergency vehicle equipment, including:
- Wiring harnesses and controllers
- Light bars and power supplies
