Librarian for English-Speaking Library in Musaffah, UAE. We are currently hiring a qualified Librarian for our English-speaking library located in the bustling city of Musaffah, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the library and providing high-quality services to our diverse community of patrons.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the library
- Manage circulation and cataloging systems, including checking materials in and out, shelving books, and updating records
- Develop and implement engaging programs and events to promote literacy and education
- Provide reference services to patrons by assisting with research inquiries and locating materials
- Collaborate with teachers and educators to support their curriculum needs
- Maintain an organized collection by selecting, ordering, and weeding materials as needed
