Overview
Librarian vacancy in Musaffah, UAE. This position is open to foreign applicants. Salary: 1600 AED per month.
Responsibilities
- Manage the library’s physical collection, including organizing, shelving, cataloguing, and indexing materials.
- Assist customers in locating materials and answer questions about library services and policies.
- Help customers use library systems and maintain records of circulation.
- Perform other administrative tasks related to library operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask and work independently.
- Aptitude for technology with an understanding of digital cataloguing systems.
