Overview
Job Title: Librarian
Location: Zayed City, UAE
Responsibilities
- Manage the library’s collection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and other materials.
- Ensure materials are properly categorized and organized for easy patron access.
- Assist patrons with research projects and answer questions about library services and materials.
- Plan and host events such as author readings or workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in a library setting.
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal System).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Compensation
Salary: 1600 AED per month
