Licensed Practical Nurse
Major duties include, but are not limited to:
- Explain procedures to patients in understandable language and adapt communication to individual age-related and gender-specific needs.
- Create and maintain a physical and emotional environment consistent with patient-centered care.
- Demonstrate flexibility, maintain self-control, and respond effectively to varying work situations and patient care needs, including accepting temporary reassignments.
- Respond promptly and courteously to patient requests, focusing on customer service in all interactions.
- Communicate respectfully and work collaboratively with administrative staff, PACT teams, patients, and visitors. Orient patients to the clinic.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families to help them adjust to illness or health changes.
