Job Description
X RAY
- Maintains a high standard of radiography.
- Operates x‑ray equipment and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as kilo voltage peak (kVp), milliampere (mA) and time and adjust tube distance based on the knowledge of radiographic exposure technique and protocols.
- Assists the Radiologist in the procedure as directed.
- Performs diagnostic procedures that will require one’s independent judgment with initiative and applies knowledge in the established practice parameters such as technical factors, selections, proper patient and part positioning, proper image/patient identification and proper image receptors.
- Applies proper patient care and management and practices sterile and aseptic techniques in procedural aspect.
