Overview
A Life Healthcare cleaner maintains cleanliness, hygiene, and infection‑control standards across Life Healthcare hospitals, rehabilitation centres, mental health facilities, and occupational health clinics in South Africa.
Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient wards and clinical areas. Adhere to infection‑control procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Support operating theatre, ICU, and other high‑standard areas. Follow cleaning schedules, record maintenance of supplies, and report any irregularities. Work within a dedicated in‑house or contracted team to meet patient‑safety and facility‑quality goals. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and Infection Prevention & Control guidelines. Qualifications and Skills Education No formal qualification is required for entry‑level roles. Grade 10 or Grade 12 is strongly preferred.
