Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lighting Controls Technician with a strong background in commercial lighting installation, retrofit work, and controls. This is not a general electrician role. The right candidate understands lighting systems from rough-in through commissioning, brings a high level of professionalism on customer job sites, and is comfortable working with controls platforms in occupied commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, and all associated components safely and neatly in customer facilities
- Program and configure lighting controls systems including occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, photocells, scene control, time scheduling, and dimmer racks
- Work with controls platforms such as Lutron, Leviton, Acuity nLight, Enlighted, Hubbell, Douglas Lighting Controls, or similar
- Interface with DALI, 0-10V dimming, DMX, BACnet, or Modbus-based systems
