Sous Chef
Our client, an Abu Dhabi based F&B firm, is currently seeking a Sous Cook to be part of their rear of home operations. The candidate will have the following obligations:
Responsibilities
- Supporting the head cook or executive cook in the general operating of the kitchen area
- Monitoring the job of the cooking area brigade
- Preparing the food selection as well as preparing food items, which includes specialty or seasonal offerings
- Estimating needed materials and submitting up orders appropriately
- Coordinating the job flow and routines of other kitchen team members
- Ensuring that all kitchen operations are in compliance with food health and safety laws
- Educating staff and introducing brand-new cooking practices to the team
- Preparing as well as cooking supplied meals
- Managing and resolving any concerns that may develop quickly and effectively
