Job Description

New freelance opportunity for a Linux Administrator to join an international IT organisation, working onsite at their office in Valencia, Spain, or fully remote (CET hours). This is an English-speaking role which will suit someone with at least 4 years of Linux experience, that has good communication skills, and who can work in a multicultural and multi-location organisation.

As a Linux Admin you will:
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot systems, services, configurations, and core applications. 
  • Work as a member of the Linux support team
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot problems, provide incident and problem management and monitor and escalate as needed.
  • Identify areas of enhancement and deploy automated processes to minimize human intervention.
  • Define and implement security best practices and hardening of the Linux Server and related technologies.
