Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand concepts of Ethernet controllers, DMA and firmware-host communication Design and develop Linux Ethernet Drivers - specifically on the host side- with deep understanding of the complete Ethernet host stack with multiple PHYs Deep understanding and hands on experience in OS concepts (synchronization, threads, user-kernel separation, scheduler etc.) Apply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts Stay informed of Ethernet software and hardware trends, standards and innovations Participating in design and development of new features and support of existing features Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work.
