Involves an accomplished level of processing, coordinating and obtaining customs clearance approval for import/export and transshipments of documents, packages, and merchandise in baggage or air freight under the direction of the Station Operations Manager.Lead or senior levels of these positions may:- Handle escalated or more complex issues,- Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff,- Support supervisor or manager activities,- Support the design, review and implementation of processes and procedures.**General job description**:Under limited supervision performs the following activities:- Prepares necessary customs forms to enable import, export and transshipments procedures to take place in a timely, efficient and effective manner for consignments arriving/departing via aircraft.Ex.master airway bills, cargo manifests and general declarations, invoices and other related paperwork.
