POSITION SUMMARY
The Loader Operator assists with operating and eventually becomes proficient in independently operating a front-end loader to support construction activities, including material handling, base preparation, asphalt placement, and site cleanup. This role requires strong attention to safety, communication, and equipment operation while supporting a productive and organized jobsite.
YOUR ROLE
- Assists with operating a front-end loader under direct supervision to move materials such as asphalt, gravel, spoils, and debris.
- Operates loader to load haul trucks, transport spoils, and perform backfill with guidance from senior operators.
- Performs basic grading and rough subgrade prep with loader bucket.
