Job Description
Summary This position maybe located in a State office in USDA/RD. The incumbent has responsibility for making and servicing loans/grants for selected loans and grants for rural facilities ,utilities ,and/or businesses. Responsibilities Analyzes financial and credit data documents to make sound eligibility, feasibility, and credit-worthiness determinations and takes appropriate action for orderly processing of the loan and/or grant. Conducts security reviews on rural utility, community facility, and business projects. Reviews file for completeness and compliance with all prescribed regulations and practices before loan closing; prepares draft loan closing documents for review as appropriate. Cultivates key relationships, fosters support and raises awareness with key business, civic, community and local government entities and community interest groups to facilitate the partnering with RD in the interest of developing the program(s).
