Job Description
Childcare Lawyer
Hourly rate from £50 - £60 per hour umbrella.
Full time - 9.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour breaks.
The contract will initially be for 3 months as standard but is likely to be renewed beyond that for at least another 3 months.
Based in Tooley Street.
36 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing legal advice to and representation for Children Social Care in all safeguarding, adoption and non‑care matters.
Will have a caseload of care cases, non‑care matters and PLO pre‑proceedings cases.
Will attend and provide legal advice at LPM Panel.
Will cover duty sessions per month.
Must ensure that case files are Lexcel compliant.
Must assist and support the Head of Team in delivering corporate and Team priorities and objectives.
