Job Description

CPL UK HEALTH are urgently assisting an NHS Trust in the North West of England who require a Locum Consultant Ophthalmology Surgeon immediately.

These will be initially a 3 month locum post via agency but likely to extend. The doctor will cover across two hospital sites in the Trust.


Job Plan includes theatre lists and outpatient clinics plus On Calls. Ideally 8 PA per week would work well.

  • Consultants ONLY – GMC Spec Reg desirable

  • Long term – 3 months or more

  • Full time weekday rota, 8 PAs 

  • Includes on calls

  • £110 – £115 PAYE expected 

    • Requirements:

  • GMC with full license to practice

  • Right to work in the UK (no visa available)

  • Updated version of CV, no gaps

  • 2 Recent References

  • DBS and Occ Health

  • Mandatory Training Certs
